The scale is not so big but you can see some regional specialities at this market. There are cafe and restaurants nearby so you can sit down and watch the market comfortably.

Good parking in le Vieux Marche multi-story. Car park close to everywhere for walking. The new church for Ste Jeanne d'Arc dominates. Great place to visit and find a place to eat. From a simple brasserie to the oldest restaurant in France, it's all there and we enjoyed it immensely. Gathering place for many, it is in the heart of the city.

It was suggested by our host at the B&B that we take in the market which was just down the block. Here we found Great atmosphere with shoppes and eateries surrounding what has to be one of the worst memorial churches I have ever witnessed. Let me positive though for there was excellant food and rink to be consumed along with some lovely shoppes and a small market area too.

There is always something going on here, day and night. There is a super fresh produce market here several times a week selling fish,cheese,meat,vegetables etc. The square is surrounded by bars and brasseries, and plenty of cafe society.
