it was in the high 30's when we were there - every day - so at one stage we went to the Abbatoir area by the river to while away some free time and relax, easy to access from the other side fo the river (enjoy the old bridge too with its unusual design for letting peak flood water through).... If you have a student ID, it's 3 euros... Regular price is 8 euros... so if you have one, don't forget it. The exhibits here are pretty cool and change a few times a year.... When you are tired of walking around the center, this place is a good option when you want to take a break.

The Modern art Museum of Toulouse. They always have interesting temporary expositions + the permanent one. Plus the location is great, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Must see if you are into museum.
