I wouldn't bother unless you happen to be close by (really close by), it's tiny and nothing to get excited about.
We took an extended lunch cruise to see all points of interest along the river Seine. This was one of the highlights of the cruise that day. Especially if you're from New York. I know it sounds kind of corny, but they actually play the song "New York, New York" as you're passing by the Statue of Liberty (near the... More
The Statue of Liberty in Paris is off the beaten path from the other more popular sights, but if you have the time to spare after visiting the Eiffel Tower and the other sights somewhat nearby, take the trouble to walk out here and see the Statue. You will be rewarded with great photograph opportunities that most people don't even... More
From a previous trip, I understand this was the prototype for the full sized one in the States. Not worth a special trip, but If you have time to kill before your ticket time to go up the tower it's worth a look. Ask any local at the tower and they'll tell you it's at the second bridge 10 minutes... More
Was nice to see the mini statue given the history associated with Gustav Eifel etc. longish walk though which we did at the wrong end of the day.
This is located west of the tower and a nice walk between the river. You can watch the boats go by and, if you have never seen the real one in NYC, you can "kill two birds with one stone". (No offense to PITA)
I really liked the whole area build around this. It has a nice fitness park and a really great jogging area on the Seine, but the statue itself is not a big thing you need to check off your list. If I would live in Paris, I would probably be there more often than not, as a tourist if you... More
Great to see this as we missed on our our River cruise yesterday. I have not seen the original in the USA so cannot give a comparison however this one is nice. It is on a small island in the Seine which is also worth walking down to the Bir-Hakeim bridge at the other end. You can get a good... More
We went to NY to see the big one last year so really wanted to visit this little version. It was quite a walk down the slim island in the Seine but it was a nice day so off we went. I think if access was a bit easier they should make more of this statue like they do in... More
