A beautiful building but is let down by the rude tourist who will not respect the fact the building is still operating as a church, its request no cameras/silence/etc but that didnt stop american or chinese tourists takling loud and taking photos of themselves next to the priest giving a sermon! Ancient, beautiful but mostly peaceful. Sit down for a while and take the atmosphere in. It's worth going behind the cathedral to the very end of the island. What you find there will make you think. More

I must say i really wanted to see this Cathedral, even i already knew how it looks like from pictures and movies, i was impressed once i was there. I just cannot believe, how some of individuals can create something so beautiful, so massive, what makes you pray and stay there in silence. This was definitely one of my greatest... More

If you visit Paris you must go here. Try the hop on / hop off bus and just arrive. It is surrounded by quaint old streets and cafes to explore. We found you can do it easily by yourself - so get out there and try ! More

well, so many people go there that's why I felt it is really overcrowded and I think one should have just a quick visit with a couple of nice photos and it's enough More

Love, love the Christmas ornaments. Go there when they open @ 10 in December and you'd fall in love with the ornaments. Cons - people still use flashes, walk around and talking during services More

This beautiful cathedral is imbued with beauty and grandeur, and even with all the tourists, its magnificence and historical relevance stuns the visitor. Try to linger in the interior in hidden, forgotten corners and imagine what it was like to worship here 150 years ago. Learn about the architecture and the significance of the different parts of the cathedral. Stand... More

Beautiful architectural. Experienced New Year's mass in french and the event was moving even though I speak nothing in the language. Worth the visit and walk behind the church - don't miss the gardens and free toilet. More

This old cathedral has hundreds of years of history, and is a must-see in Paris if you're in any way interested in the history. And if you've a literary interest in the city, and have read the book about the hunchback bellringer (or even seen the Disney movie), that adds more interest to this historic site. Seeing the little model... More
