Arrive early morning - we got there at around 8am and there was nobody else around. The light was perfect and it was excellent seeing something like this at a time when it was deserted, perfect for photos.

The size of the tower is surprising, despite what your head knows. It's worth going at sunset, too, to watch it light up and sparkle!

Visited the tower on our first evening in Paris went up at 8pm and drank champagne at the top as the sunset well worth doing a tour so you get the most out of the experience and by seeing everything from above on day 1 we were ready for our week of sightseeing

Take lots of pictures from as many angles as you can. The trip to the top platform gives you the best views in Paris. If your around after dark the tower is lit and even does a bit of a light show.

Thats something that you must see with your own eyes. If you go to Paris and you don't go to the top of the Eiffel Tower you wasted a trip. The view is amazing. No need to get to the very top to enjoy the magnificent views of the city. Any floor will give you that view, just be sure you book ahead to avoid waiting in the long lines.
