this was the first evening we spent and it set us up for the holiday- we went around with him on our mind (as he said we would) and I wish that we could have seen it twice!
We chose to go to this show after reading all the good reviews here on Tripadvisor. Well, what a disappointment. It's a one man show that lasts just over an hour. The jokes, if indeed you can call them jokes, are inane and repetitive... and simply not funny. For this amount of money you can see a great show in... More
The test for the show is did you laugh and enjoy - and it passes by these measures. The humor is shallow standup - Olivier who seems like a great guy starts the show asking where the audience is from and then incorporates jokes about those countries during the show. A very nice and persona touch is that he takes... More
After reading so many good reviews, we decided to see the show while being in Paris. Both of us were very disappointed. Of course any humour is ultimatelly judged by personal taste but we found it very bland. I guess we are just spoiled in London and being able to see much more greater one stand comedian/actor performances, I thought... More
Oliver is extremely talented, and it was fun to humorously experience how Parisians view "typical" Americans and vice-versa. If you have extra time in Paris, this is an entertaining show.
This show appears to be getting more well known and popular. We sat next to some Parisian lads who were there for a second time. They appreciated some of the nuances more than we did I expect. I guess differences in culture and attitude are always amusing and our host worked very hard under hot lights to entertain. The Americans came... More
I booked this show as a surprise for my husband and I during a 3 night trip to Paris. It was completely booked out and we had to queue about 10 minutes to get inside the door even though we had our tickets printed in advance. As it’s a very old theatre, it is not the roomiest in terms of... More
I can recommend this show to everybody - young and old. Oliver brings out everybody's laugh! For me, this show was the highlight of my weekend in Paris!
A brilliant way to start an evening out in Paris. Lovely cosy traditional theatre, lots of different nationalities only adds to the show ( u will know what I mean ). Olivier is very down to earth and meets who goers afterwards. LA Laughed the whole time and you will notice his observations as you walk around Paris and his... More
This comedy presentation was not quite as funny as I hoped for but was fairly amusing. I did not find out "why all the marching" or "why all the pouting" as advertised in 2010 when I was last in Paris The comedian has very good skills interacting with the audience. He is taking it "on the road" to different countries,... More
