we also played a round of golf while in killarney and were equally as impressed by the landscape views of the lakes of killarney. O Mahony's point was a relatively easy course to play so suited our golfing ability. The staff were very helpful and gave us a good rate.

I have retained my international membership for many years and by far this is my favourite golf club of all time. This time I booked to tee off the Killeen course, and it was well worth the advanced booking. Club facilities are fantastic, and is a true 5 star club.

We played the Kileen course as recommended by staff in the Dromhall hotel, we were not disappointed. Our hotel booked the course for us and we were given a very keen midweek rate. Magnificent. The views are stunning, in particular the holes that hug the lake. The course condition was wonderful, well cared for, greens immaculate. We hope to come... More

As other reviewers have noted, the views over the lake are great as the course winds its way around one edge. Conditions were very wet when I played, but the course seemed well maintained. As long as you understand that it's a parkland course - more like something in the U.S. than what most golfers come to Ireland for -... More

Spectacular location with views of the Lakes and Mountains the courses have suffered somewhat due to the wet weather and are not at their best. The clubhouse is as always very welcoming with a great pro shop and all the usual facilities. The Bar and food and service is first class as always, but sadly the stunning views are somewhat marred... It's worth the stop even if you just walk around a little and visit the pro shop. The grounds are absolutely beautiful right on the water!

Conditions were wet due to a wet summer snd recent heavy rains. Site of the 2011 Irish open. Mostly like to play links courses when in Ireland. However, this is a course to play! Accomodating staff good caddies. Vistas too beautiful to ignore!

We had an enjoyable round o f golf on the Killeen Course. It has plenty of challenge for golfers of all levels and some great views of the mountains and lakes. The parkland course winds along the lakeshore and through a small forest. The numerous dogleg holes, kept us alert for playing our shots. While there were wide open fairways... More
