Ladies View doesn't offer the best view of the area. If traveling counterclock wise, there is a viewing area about a half mile before with a better view.

Driving the ring of Kerry is a wonderful adventure and this stop like so many others in Ireland is breath-taking. The vista provides a beautiful lake, mountain region and waterfalls cascading in abundance. The road will take steel nerves if you navigate it yourself so I recommend for fun and relaxation, find a local touring company to drive the Ring!
what a great view and it is all free we thought we were looking at a picture postcard, dont have to get out of the car ,better than the gap at dunloe.
The Ladies' View was a favorite for me and my wife! The little gift shop was staffed with very friendly locals and offered some fun trinkets and souvenirs. The cafe it's attached to has an excellent Irish Coffee and some of the best apple pie I've had in a long time!
All of that, at such a beautiful location, made...

There was also a nice little coffee shop and shop too! THe view is worth it, you can see the different lakes amongst the mountains
I arrived there almost at the end of the drive through the Ring of Kerry and was a very good surprise!
Stopped at Ladies View on the way to Kenmare.... it was the perfect spot for a picnic lunch and the views were incredible.... this in spite of the fact that Ireland was having a late Spring and things were still pretty brown... probably our favorite site in a week of exploring County Kerry.
This was a stop on our Ring of Kerry tour. We were very lucky to have gorgeous weather and see a rainbow. Magical!
Although the weather was windy and cold, it was worth braving the elements to see this amazing view. No wonder Queen Victorias Ladies in waiting were awestruck in 1861. Its still amazing more than 150 years later.
A bit windy during our stop, but magnificent views over the lakes below. The photos were deffinitely for sharing.
