We stayed at first class cottage in Dingle and our day to Killarney to visit friends was really good. The modern cathedral was worth a visit; we could have explored much more of the town, there were some good 'Irish woollen shops' to browse. Much longer was needed at Muckross House and gardens but the grandchildren enjoyed the carriage rides. More

We took a horse, carriage ride to the waterfall! You have to pay for the ride but it was so nice. You can walk the grounds as well. We also, took the house tour which was really fun! More

Lovely gardens to walk around on a Summer's day. Jaunting cars available for tourists - be sure to bargain the jarveys down! Food in the cafe is good for a break. Be sure to do the walk over to Torc Waterfall in one direction and Muckross Abbey in the other. Let the kids bring bikes or a football. More
