Not the blue tropical aquarium that we often think of, but a fantastic way to see what we have in the waters off our country. This is a good experience. the aquarium compares very well with those I have visited abroad. A marvelous range of sea-denizens. Kids love it. More

Few minutes from city centre, good value for a family day out, Kids enjoy it+its informative+intresting.Good place to spend an hour on a cold wet day in Salthill. More

Worth visiting this place, it's very educational and you get to know a lot of sea, ocean and freswater creatures about which you had no idea they exist. More

It was a nice place clean and had a guide if you wanted. The children loved the rays including touching them ( I don't know if they were supposed to). Four a couple and two small children €29 is too expensive in current economic climate. If we are serious about promoting our marine heritage, this amenity needs to reappraised. Thank you for your review and apologies that you did not enjoy your visit. On the price issue, our family ticket price is the lowest of the comparable aquariums in Ireland and the ticket is valid all day in order that people can avail of the tours or feedings that take place hourly. I visited galway Atlantaquaria with my two kids who are aged 8 and 11. The aquarium has a large number of attractions and is attractively laid out.
