This was a noisy but nice place in the middle of the city to sit & people watch. There are a couple of sculptures in the park & President Kennedy had visited & spoke from there. It is surrounded by places to get a sandwich & coffee & just rest!.
Galway City is beautiful .It has people from all walks of life. The city is just buzzing with entertaiment.Just a lovely place to be in.Looks different from most of the counties.Great place to visit,Lots of things to do.I recommend it to anyone.
Not too much to see but when you find Eyre Square, you find the shops, pubs and restaurants just "around the corner"...
