The music would lift anyones spirit, purchased Gerard Fahy's cd - superb. Gerard Fahy, sister Yvonne and Chris Kelly truly present a first class show. Dances are all world class champions, wonderful atmosphere.

With world champions dancing and famous musicians playing, it is a steal of a bargain. Tip: sit up front or at least make sure you get a good view of the stage because it is more fun to watch the dancer's feet.

An outstanding show and another reason to include Galway (even if otherwise out of the way) on any visit to the island. Truly impressive performances, including best I have ever heard the bodhran played. Well thought out review of various styles of Irish dance; educational as well as entertaining. Slightly missed a fiddle (the fiddle player is on the mend... More

One of the most enjoyable nights of our trip to Ireland was spent at the Glaway Bay Hotel watching Trad on the Prom. It is a wonderful night of Irish music and dance from some of the most talented dancers and musicians in Ireland. DO NOT MISS IT.

My wife again came through with flying colors on this one! Despite the 45 minute drive from the Ashford Castle (each way), it was a GREAT SHOW and well worth the drive. Very reasonably priced and the talent of the entire cast was amazing. I would go again and have just as much fun. The audience gave a standing ovation.... More

This show was absolutely outstanding. It's conviction and sheer professionalism blew me away along with the wonderful collaboration of Irish song, music and dance. From the outset, it was captivating and intelligently produced for an all round Irish cultural experience. I can honestly say, I have never seen such an array of talent all on the one stage in a... I suppose shows like this aren't exactly up my alley. I found the entire thing to be over-priced, gimmicky, and not really that real of an Irish experience at all. I'd rather suggest you head to The Crane bar and experience the wonderful west of Ireland that way.

As owner of Trad on the Prom I would like to respond to this inaccurate review. The facts are that the show features the best Irish Dancers in the world including the current Female and Male world champions. There are now 17 Number 1 world titles shared amongst the Trad on the Prom dancers. The show also features world class... More

great experience here with friends visiting from the USA. We loved the show and would highly recommend - particularly for out of towner's. also would have to recommend a trip to the Galleon Restaurant up the road in the heart of Salthill for a meal before the show. Fantastic evening and very well produced.
