My wife and I, arriving in Dublin on Bloomsday, had the good fortune to connect with Pat Liddy for his 2-hr “Bloomsday Walk.” Having heard many bits and pieces about Ulysses, it was a lot of fun to walk with Pat along Bloom’s June 16th path and fascinating to learn more about this literary work, its characters, James Joyce and... more

Having just moved to Dublin I decided to go on one of Pat Liddys Tours to get to know a little more about it - our Guide was warm welcoming entertaining and engaging. I found a new appreciation of places / buildings and monuments that I had seen walking around Dublin every day. I discovered places (like the fruit market)... more

I did the Viking/Medieval walking tour and our guide, Samantha, was just great! She knew all the old history of Dublin and really helped me to visualize what it must have been like. Add to that a great sense of humor, and it made for a very pleasant experience. And thanks to Mr. Liddy, who I saw on Cities of... more

I did the dublin experience tour which was free as part of the dublin sightseeing bus tour ticket. Having visited dublin twice before i wasn't sure if i would see anything different so was pleasantly surprised to visit areas i hadn't before. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it came to the history. I would definatly try... more

As it is the Guinness's 250th anniversary we decided to try the Guinness Pilgrimage. Our guide, Pauline, told us that this is a new addition to the tours this year and our tour was the very first one. The walk took about an hour and a half and Pauline gave us a very interesting potted history of Ireland along the... more

The wife and I cruised recently on the MS Maasdam and made a stop in Dublin for the day. After reading about Pat Liddy tours on line, we decided to give them a try as Dublin was so very crowded with people and vehicles. We figured a walking tour would be easier to get around. We met our guide at... more

While in Dublin a couple of weeks ago we took a Pat Liddy walking tour (Viking and Medieval Dublin). Our experience was poor. I think this tour has potential but unfortunately our guide was either inexperienced or merely inadequate and therefore our tour was uneventful and a waste of money. Our guide was a elderly lady. She was nice but... more

While in dublin the best way to explore the city is to take a "Pat Liddy, walking tour of the city". I did one last year and another yesterday and find them great. There are several to choose from and they last about 2 hrs and are really cheap. You coud spend years researching the city and not know what... more
