I was tired and skeptical but wanted to get as much as I could during the time I had in Dublin. In the 3+ hours of walking with my guide I learned so much more than I otherwise could have. The walk was interesting, well narrated, comprehensive and entertaining. I learned more than I dreamed possible from such a good... More

I took the Georgian Walking Tour of Dublin with Pat Liddy's Tours last November. As it was a dismal day and off season there was one other couple making up an intimate group of four, making the experience more personal. Firstly their motto 'rain or shine' suggests an upbeat attitude which to the unpredictable Irish weather was certainly true, undeterred... More

A friend and I recently visited Dublin for a few days, and got the general walking tour of Dublin with our passes for the Hop on Hop off bus. Even though I have been to Dublin before, I did not want to let the tour go to waste, and I thought it would be good for me to get a... More

We have been on both the viking quarter and the Georgian quarter tour. As it happened we had the same tour guide "Samantha" as our guide on both. We both really enjoyed them and found out loads about Dublin. For locals, I learned allot about Dublin that I didn't know. For those visiting, it will help to orientate you with... More

Had a wonderful and informative trip with one of Pat Liddy's lady guides around Medieval and Viking Dublin. Really interesting, fact packed walking tour, lasting around 2.5hours, ending up shaking hands with a crusader in the vaults of St Michan's Church. Saw the death mask of Wolfe Tone - amazing! Great, stimulating, interesting tour with just the right balance of... More

Make sure you find time to do the Pat Liddy Walking Tour of Dublin. It's a great opportunity to gain your bearings of some of Dublin's key landmarks and learn more of its history. Our guide, Samantha, was excellent and knew her subject matter well. The walk itself is very easy going, but do remember the rain coat as it... More

The Guides on these trips are full of enthusiasm, have great knowledge which they convey clearly and with plenty of humor. I am a Dubliner and have now gone on three of these walks and have learned so much about my own city, which I'll continue to explore. Thanks to Helen, Samantha and Lorcan for their fantastic tours! A group of us did the one of Pat Liddy's Walking Tours of Dublin a few weekends ago - we did the Dublin Highlights & Hidden Corners Tour. Most of our group live in Dublin. We all really enjoyed the tour and found it very informative. Our tour guide was excellent - he was very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend... More

We enjoyed our first walking tour with Pat Liddy's (Duggy was our guide) that we booked another one for the next day (Helen was great, too). I've read lots of tour books & seen lots of videos on Dublin. Duggy and Helen showed us things and explained things that noone else covered. I would really recommend doing this. More

Really enjoyed this walk with Lorcan (Vikind and Mediewalk walk) -- he is brilliant and funny and happy to answer all the questions. There were some real historical surprises on this tour -- I did not realize that Dublin is so full of surprises I would miss walking alone or with a guide book. It is a must do in... More
