I live in Dublin, so as a rule tend to stay away from Temple bar as it is a tourist trap. However after bring some American friends to Gogarty's pub i felf compelled to write a review here, just to warn others away. First of all, the drink prices are at least 20% dearer than most pubs in Dublin and... More

Great lively pub. Some good music sessions. Always busy. A lovely quieter upstairs and a smoking section. Prices a little high but thats Dublin. Didnt eat here but the food looked great. Next time!! More

Unfortunately, we only stumbled across this pub on our last night of our stay and had a fantastic night on the opening day of the Tradfest. We only went in for one and ended up staying the whole night! More

Definitely the best pub I visited while in Ireland. We just got in it attracted by the music. There was a small band playing Irish music, nice typical design, great atmosphere... More

Welcome to Ireland's most espensive pub, where the crais is only mighty and the drink's prices go up by the hour as the night progresses - be sure and order 5 minutes to the hour if you have to. More

Its a party night every night here with the live Irish music and Irish dancing running all afternoon and evening. The food is the restaurant on the 3rd floor is good and plentiful Irish fayre, the steaks and farmhouse sausages being especially good in my opinion. Don't forget to finish your meal with an Irish coffee, it has plenty if... More

Hadn't been out in the temple bar in a long time so went along with a bunch of friends. We hit OSJG's in search of crack and music. We left disappointed and disgusted by the price of a drink. Anyone not familiar with Dublin reading this, there is a reason you won't meet many Irish people here or in its... More

Touristy of course, but that is only to be expected in Temple Bar. Still, music was great, much better quality than expected and the atmosphere lively without being too raucous for two ladies in their fifties. We did not react to the drink prices, as did some previous reviewers, but then we are not big drinkers. Came for the music!... More
