1st time in Dublin and a friend bought me here, the staff were helpful and friendly, the beers were awesome. Then some dancers came in put a show on and also had a traditional band playing. All i can say is my next visit to dublin i will be coming back here and look forward to it

After having been to a pub earlier that did not live upto our expectations. We relented and went to what we thought was going to be a bit of a fast food experience. The food was surprisingly good. The local brewed stout also surprised us. The only thing that let us down was the service.

As a native Dubliner, myself and my partner have visited all the Porterhouses over the years. The Parliament street establishment has fallen a long way in our opinion. Waiting time at 5pm on a normal Monday was so bad I had to go to the bar to order food. It was of average quality, but what really annoyed us was... More

Stumbled across this pub today 26/5/2013. Was served by a young man called Shane, he was soooo helpful, not only did he choose a lovely drink from their fantastic selection he also gave us a list of other pubs locally to try. Lovely charming lad will definately be visiting that pub again. Served every beer/ale imaginable!! Nothing was too much... More

Large selection of beers. Cheese and meat plate had 4 kinds if cheese, prosciutto, walnuts, grapes, honest, interesting crackers. We had them bring some delicious dark bread. We split for lunch and it was plenty. Liked the atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Would give it 5 starts but some parts of restaurant are rather dark.

Went on a quest to find some real ale in Dublin but unfortunately I must have timed it wrong. Though they had some excellent craft beer the real ale had run out. Went back the next day but there was still none despite two hand pulls featuring badges, still well worth a visit go ale fans.

we where recomended to go here by the staff of our hotel. Its a bit mind boggling how many beers they have on the menu but you can get a sampler of 3 small glasses of some of the lagers/ales and stouts. This is well worth doing and you can get a taste of each and then decide to go... More

Loved the seasonal chocolate truffle porter! One of the best we have sampled around the globe. Great little pub with friendly helpful and knowledgable staff

It was such a fun place to go to and see. We went at night to the Porterhouse, and there was a fantastic live band featuring the talent of one of the stars of "The Voice." It was such a fun place, and the drinks were a reasonable price.
