“The crypts are pretty cool!”

Inside the church itself it looks like it was remodeled in the '80s and was unimpressive, but the crypts were small but pretty cool. I've never seen mummified bodies up close so it was pretty creepy. The tour is quick and can be done in about 15 minutes (like I said, its not that big) More

The underground vaults contain mummified remains of people buried within the church more than five hundred years ago and this is the main reason so many visitors come to the church. It is an ancient religious site, the vaults are authentic, the ornate closed coffins and open boxes are real, this is as close as you will want to come... More

what can i say,creepy and very cool tour,400 and 800 year old bodies on display,doesnt get cooler or creepier than that,all for 8 quid,GO!!!! More

Takes you beneath the church to the crypts to see how the coffins were placed and a few opened with mummified remains. A bit creepy, but really interesting. Great tour guide. More

St. Michan's is an old Dublin church that just happens to have tombs underneath it. You can take a tour of these tombs - the tour guide will lead you around the side of the church to one of two double doors that open upwards, leading down to the tombs below.
