I am so glad I heard about this before I went to Dublin. I went with a friend of mine who studies traditional musical instruments, and she heard about it. This is seriously the most fun I had when I was in Dublin! Any pub crawl is automatically a good time, but getting up close and personal with the music... More

Musicians were friendly and knowledgeable - true passion for sharing their craft. I learned a great deal about Irish music, culture and people. The pubs we visited were fun, the music was great - they even pointed us to a "real" neighborhood pub, off the beaten path for tourists, for after the tour. More

As someone who has no musical background, I thought this was great! We went to two different pubs (stayed for 1 hr each) and the two male musicians (I forgot their names!!) shared the history of Irish music and played different tunes showing the patterns and storytelling. It was lots of fun. Best part was 'the noble call' where people... More

I saw this tour on a Rick Steves episode and immediately new I wanted to do it when we went to Dublin but I wasn't sure if it would be appropriate to bring my 6.5 yr old son. A quick email to them assured me he'd be able to attend which solved things on that end but as far as... More

This "tour" was so much fun and so informative. I felt like an insider afterwards. We started but immediately left Temple Bar because according to the musicians, it was not the real Ireland/Dublin. The pub crawl was about education and fun. We enjoyed so much music and laughter and of course, Guinness. More

I was not sure of this but we book at the recommendation of Rick Steves. We learned a lot and got to walk with the locals. It was fun and entertaining. The two performers did a great job interacting with the crowd. My only complaint was the beers were very expensive. DO NOT MISS! More

Great music and a musical history lesson from our two wonderful musician hosts PLUS some great Irish Pub atmosphere PLUS a pint (or two) of various carbonated beverages EQUALS a good time! I even sang a brief song (solo) when our group was asked to participate--I won't be quitting my day job, but nobody threw anything at me either! We... More

I've heard Irish music before, but I've never studied the intricacies or learned the history-- this tour will make you an Irish Trad aficionado before you know it! On our particular night, Mark and Ray took us through three Dublin pubs and not only did we learn a ton about Irish Traditional music, we laughed and enjoyed the whole time.... More

We had so much fun learning more about the traditional Irish music. The two musicians took us to three pubs, private rooms where they played music, talked about history and traditions. We ofcourse indulged on traditional beers :) More
