The Titanic exhibition is here and this is the last place the ship docked (then called Queenstown) before heading to New York.

A stroll in the quaint seaport of Ireland was awesome. People are pleasant and helpful to visitors. The day we visited was a celebration of the Titanic sailing from this port on her maiden voyage to the United States. A reenactment happened around the memorial to this disaster. The very large church on the highest point in town drew our... More

Cobh is beautiful town on a seaside with the whole titanic history, therefore they also have Titanic museum kinda thing. It could be more about Titanic to my taste, but it was still very interesting trip and I really enjoyed my day spend in Cobh.

We recently went for a walk along the front in Cobh and were very dissapointed to see how run down the town looked. We like to visit Cobh as it is close to our home but given its potential as a tourist venue and the number of cruise ships visiting each year it needs to do something drastic to improve... More

We are sorry to hear that you felt that Cobh was run down. In common with many towns the recession has meant that some businesses have closed and a number of properties are in less than pristine condition. However Cobh is still an amazingly beautiful town with the vast majority of buildings well cared for and gaily painted. Cobh has... More

It was like going back in time. Walking around the town and chatting with the locals was one of my favorite towns in Ireland. The people were absolutely amazing.

Well worth the drive to view a very picturesque city! The Titanic centre is a rip off but the historical connection worth visiting the town. Twelve euros to visit what should be a memorial and thus free entry???

Pretty coastal town. Real attraction was the Titanic experience. Located in the original White Star ticket office. Unique experience being given a named passenger's ticket! Very interesting and moving!

Food wasn't very interesting.. Now we only had the early bird so our choice was limited. That said, the service was really good.

I love Cobh. So much history and such a lovely location. Make sure to check out the cathedral (it's free but try to leave a donation to help with running costs) and obviously the Titanic expire nice is great too. There's lots of places to enjoy a ye coffee (or something stronger ;) and soak up the ambiance.
