A wonderful place to wander around and view all the exhibits and take in the magnificent decor including the organ which we were lucky enough to hear being played.

This place is a world class museum and art gallery. This place is free to visit-and you will be blown away. There are dinosaur fossils, armour, weapons and human remains that are centuries old, there's an abundance of stuffed animals as well as skeletons, there's busts, beautiful artworks-this place is just full of all things interesting and beautiful. Love the furniture collection. I live in London so am a bit spoiled for choice at home when it comes to museums but I love the Kelvingrove every time I go.

Something for everyone here. Try to catch an organ recital in the main entrance. Bit hard to get to, but a wonderful mix of exhibits - and no admission charge. We'll make sure to go back on another trip.

Huge museum. Just a little muddled in layout. Only thing we didn't like was the families with badly behaved kids who thought that the place was a massive play area.

We had a free tour with Roy, who was knowledgeable & interesting. Brilliant scheme. Had morning coffee, and later a waitress service lunch, which was ideal. Very impressed with it all.

Travellers should remember that most museums and galleries in Glasgow are free. This magnificent red sandstone museum is located in a lovely park near Glasgow University and the West End.some world class paintings and an excellent educational slant on the layout of the exhibits.

A beautiful piece of architecture both inside and out. Very interesting displays in the different sections of the museum...educational. Art gallery displays many famous pieces and both domestic and international artists. Fantastic. Bonus....you can take photos (no flash) and there is no entry fee only donation.
