Been many years since back in Belfast but the Quarter is busting with night-life and good eateries, a must see if you visit.
We started in the Cloth Ear, and while not an old pub, was tastefully decorated, had an excellent band going (covers, but not too loud to talk) and reasonable prices. We then walked to the Duke of York where there was great trad session going - pints were flowing and place was hopping. Hard to beat for a night out.
Went to Zen for a meal and settled for the set menu duck pancakes for starters followed by chicken and sweetcorn soup with prawn crackers delicious .For my main I had the signature steak with sauce must try to believe!!! service excellent staff very efficient but not in your face all the time excellent value .
This is one of the most vibrant parts of the city, and it is packed with great bars, clubs and restaurants. The old cobbles have been retained and give it great atmosphere...check out the black box and the Mac.....there's always something good on here!
