A fab day out if the weather is on your side its free to get in but they do like a contribution. Its a long walk around so flat comfy shoes are advised.

St Fagan's is a historical village outside of Cardiff, Wales. From the Central Bus Station, opposite the train station, you can get a bus that goes to St. Fagan's for a few pounds return trip. I've visited here a few times over the years but I was most impressed when I was a child and this was brought back to me when we visited with family and the children loved it.

Also wanted to see the Working Men's Hall but library and upstairs were also closed. Small train did not run as frequently as advertised so waited 40 minutes. Told this was due...

We went as a family on bank holiday. We were parked up fairly quick and we enjoyed all the activities on offer. We enjoyed the sun and it was a great day out had by all :)

Excellent outside space. Cultural, lots to do for free here. Ideal on a nice day but a bit of rain wont spoil your day. If you havn't paid St Ffagans a visit, do. We live near by and go a few times a year. Take a packed lunch and make the most of the outdoors. beautifull grounds.
The indoor galleries were closed when we visited but there are over 50 buildings which have been rescued and re-sited here, in attractive surroundings, so there's more than enough to see and plenty of walking around the extensive site. The information boards by each building are useful, particularly where they show photos of the property in its original context, and...
