Of course you must get close up to Prince Arthur's tomb ( Kathryn of Aragon's first husband ) who died in his early teens and 'Bad ' King John's tomb. What a pity - as in so many places, the tiny placards detailing the history are grubby... More

stunning building, lots to see, forbidden signs telling you not to take photos - not sure why? Nice to see history within the building - even if your not religious.

This Cathedral is very impressive - has the tombs of King John and Arthur, Prince of Wales. Glorious interior.

Majestic, historic, quiet, sacred, beautiful. What a lovely place to visit and wander. Tomb of King John amongst others there. Fantastic main nave stained glass window and another beautiful one celebrating local hero Edward Elgar.

Nobody mentions it, but the place is full of tombs! If funerary ornamentation is your thing, there is a lot here. The glass is almost totally Victorian, not bad Victorian, (mostly Hardman),but no medieval splendour here, Worcester backed the King in the Civil War, endured a battle and paid the price. The length of nave is impressive and the dimensions... More

impressive to say the least with jaw dropping ceilings! seeped in history with plenty of information available for the visitor. We would love to attend a recital here perhaps at a later date.

I am Worcestershire born and bred but have been fortunate to travel all over the world. It always makes me feel 'home' and is truly one of the most... More
