I've been here several times with family and friends and on a romantic day out with my husband. Earnley is pretty small but a lovely day out, it's never that busy so you pretty much have a lot of the parts to yourself. My favourite areas are the tropical butterfly house where you can walk around with the enchanting creatures... More

A really nice place to visit with the kids. You can get very close to the butterflies and birds, if you are lucky they may land on you. Quite an amateur set up but we liked it.

The outward appearance when you arrive in the car park is ''oh'' but once inside the children loved it. First stop was the butterfly enclosure which as expected was humid and warm (leave your coat off) the different species of moth and butterfly kept the grand daughters amazed. They were free to fly and land anywhere even onto my little... More

I have rated this as very good because I think if you have small children it would be worth the entry fee. However it was just 2 adults and therefore wasn't half a days entertainment. It didnt seem to live up to the flyer/advertisement/brochure I found personally. Having said that, I loved feeding the animals and felt like a kid... More

We have taken our grandchildren here three times in as many years. They always enjoy it. There are many different attractions including an aviary, butterflies, reptiles and an animal centre. There is an exhibition of relics from a local shipwreck which includes various items salvaged by divers from the sea. An exhibition of bygone artifacts is also very interesting. It's... More

We popped along to see the creatures at Earnley for a family day out at Easter ... and Wow! it was really great to be able to get so close to all the butterflies, birds and eek! snakes, lizards and tortoises!! The Easter egg hunt added extra fun for the kids and as well as being able to stroke the... More

A lovely afternoon. The butterflies landed on the children which they loved. Birds were very tame. Easter egg hunt entertained. Outside play area was great. Adults were interested in Hazardous exhibition. Reptiles and animals were fun and children enjoyed looking at rejectamenta display. A great few hours at reasonable cost.
