Half term family day out in Birmingham,grandparents,parents and grandchildren we all had a very interesting and informative experience,the guides were exstremely good and keen to tell us the workings of BBC Birmingham and we were fortunate to see several of the mainline presenters. I found the whole thing very enlightening.

The tour guides were great, really good fun and knowledgable. The hour and a half went really quickly and we had the opportunity to record our own radio drama. The Archers was being filmed that day so we couldn't go in to the recording studio but were shown photos and given demonstrations of what they'd be doing. Would highly recommend... More

Was mildly pleased at this. The guides were plainly struggling to keep in the dissapointment of BBC Birmingham losing so many of their programmes etc to other BBC locations but the pride shone through. A lovely and informative way to spend a couple of hours. My lads of 12 & 15 enjoyed it very much too - which surprised me!

Went to BBC tours on Saturday what a great way to spend 1/12 hours going round all the radio studios seeing how all the shows are put together seeing how all the sound effects are made you also go into the studio where they record the Archers so any fans are well catered for.
