The children have grown up loving this place. We have seen all sorts of animals, including the red pandas, and not had to leave the city! Great for children of all ages. Well kept animals, and keepers that obviously love their animals. A good selection of animals and reptiles to keep everyone happy! The cafe is pretty good too!

I went to the nature centre when the wether was really hot on the bank holiday weekend and it was lovelly. All the animals we saw, and nice to have a break at the shop and buy an icelolly. Really good value for the money with all you get to see! Defo returning here!

Cheap attraction but perfect for taking young children as they can learn about animals. Keeps them entertained and learning new things. Great place

Cracking little place, crammed with different animals and things for the kids to do, all for a great price.

Absolutely ace place. It is cheaper than almost any attraction in Great Britain to get into and is exactly what it says it is. You must visit at once.

The entrance via the old Museum was fine, staff very polite and informative but once in the main complex we were expecting a bit more nature & animals:-) The granddaughter amuse herself on the slide, we could have done that at the local park though.

Our previous visit was not very nice indeed (see my first review) This time however was much better, the problems in the café/restaurant had been solved, The centre was very busy (The sun came out) & most of the animals were out too, The toilets were in good condition & the £5 entry fee was reasonable. The shop however catered... More

We visited with our 2year old the centre itself is great with all the different animals our daughter really enjoyed them . We decided to the cafe on site there never again the soup seamed to be watered down and the sandwich we ordered the bread was not very fresh (a bit stale). Would vist the centre again but will... Bigger than we thought it would be, nice to see some good council run facilities still run. I'd bring my own food though next time
