Me and my wife regularly visit the Bishops Palace and find ourselves in awe of the place. It is very old, very well looked after by caring Staff, has some superb displays and there is always someone around to answer any questions you may have. I recommend any and everyone to visit the Palace, it is wonderful.

We had been meaning to visit for some time, and when we finally got round to it were surprised just how good the gardens are. After a cold and wet spring the day was hot and sunny and the gardens were really coming to life. The various parts of the garden each offer differing atmospheres, and there are additional views... I went here with my wife and young daughter using a Groupon voucher. To be honest I wasn't really expecting that much but I was pleasantly surprised. The Bishops Palace itself does not have a lot of rooms and most are fairly plainly decorated but what really interested me is that there are details of each of the former Bishops... More

A nice lady in working in a store in Glastonbury is a volunteer here and suggested I visit. I loved it. A lovely garden and moat surrounding the property. The swans had baby signets, so I enjoyed them too. The palace was closed so they offered the garden at half price. I truly enjoyed my time there. Very serene and... More

Loved the peaceful atmosphere. A walk around the gardens and moat seeing the swans and ducks was lovely

Great grounds and scenery. A lot less busy than similar properties managed by English Heritage or the National Trust. Not suitable for wet weather as it's almost all out doors. That said you could still enter the gateway over the moat and have a quick look.

We visited a few years ago and have wanted to get back there ever since. The gardens are brilliant for just a short wander or to laze around in for hours. I wouldn't just go for the Palace as I don't think it's anything special and unless you have a particular interest in the history of Bishops, it's just another... More

These gardens are really quite spectacular. They are beautiful and a quiet place to stroll after visiting the Cathedral. The actual Wells of St. Andrew are located here and are very pretty. The gardens are spectacular. The Palace is average and a bit of a let down after the Cathedral and gardens.
