Really good quality cheese that has improved so much. It's unpasteurised, which is unusual, and matured with great care. We love it and eat it regularly.
When in Rome you have to buy the Local produce and that's what I did.Tip here is to check the sell by date on the sealed packs.Mine was out of dateBut hey ....A minor blip ,but there is lot's of interesting products to be had.A bit pricey too .
Stock up on your cheese here, lots to try and buy. Staff know there cheeses. Well recommended Liked it all, good cheese making tour
If you love cheddar cheese, this is the original! So good! I could eat it all day long! A bit tough to park, though, so plan on a walk.
worth a visit to see how the wonderful cheddar cheese is made you can sample most of the cheese they sell and then purchase a whole lot of wonderful cheddar

The entrance is £1.95 to basically watch a video of cheese making. There was not much going on in the factory except cheese mixing by a machine. The shop is quite nice. You can taste the selection of cheese and jams on biscuits. I bought some yummy chilly jam, tastes great with cheese. I would certainly recommend visiting the shop... More

Samples are aplenty and we definitely would recommend trying them all! Our favs are port and cheddar and the vintage especially on a biscuit with red onion chutney and yes you can... More
Biggest disappointment was at cheese factory tour where we paid £1.95 each for a short video and to look at an empty room where we were told the cheesemaker would be back soon. 25 minutes later we gave up the wait. We were told we could go back later but as it was closing 30 mins later that wasn't viable.... More
