A very well organized splendid experience with a Harris Hawk- Charlie in the fields. 5/5 To start with, Jay picked us from the bus stop and we drove down to the cottage. We then looked into the aviaries and got a brief intro on the birds there. We were then given gloves, chicks cut into pieces to feed Charlie. We... More

We drove from the city center of Bath down to the cottage where Jay has all of his birds. He showed us how he feeds the birds each day and talked about the characteristics of the different breeds and the different birds themselves. He introduced us to the Harrier Hawk that we would be flying that afternoon, named Charlie. He... More

We walked from Bath to Combe Down where we met Jay for a ride to his home and the start of our very unique afternoon. We "met" many of his hawks and owls before being prepped for our afternoon in the countryside with his Harris Hawk, Charlie. We were give vests to wear that had pieces of chicks in the... More

A well organised couple of hours spent with Jay and Jake together with Harris Hawks Mogwai and Charlie. It started with a safety briefing and an introduction to the birds, how to handle and receive them etc. There was then a short walk to a large field where we flew the birds. It was an awesome experience watching them swoop down... More

This was a surprised birthday treat and I couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. I have never done anything like this before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The birds were absolutely stunning and the staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very passionate. Definitely well worth the experience.

Beautiful and amazing birds! And to be able to get up close and personal with them - I was in awe. Jay is friendly and laid back, and it's just a really nice afternoon to wander up to the field and fly one of the hawks Jay has.

Jay's Hawk Walk experience was the highlight of our trip to Bath and one of our favourite attractions in England. Relaxed, informative, up close and personal, you will struggle to find a live animal activity the same as this. Assistant Jake helped by taking some fantastic photos for us. These two Falconers are inspirational and obviously passionate about the birds.... More

My boyfriend and I visited Jay and Jake at Easter to take part in the "Hawk Walk". It was absolutely amazing. We were introduced to all the birds and told lots of interesting facts about them. We then got to meet Charlie the Harris Hawk and take him flying over the fields. Jay and Jake were both very friendly, knowledgeable... More

We spend a wonderful afternoon playing in a field with a great view with a Harris Hawk. It was such a great experience, Jay was a kind enough to pick us up from the bus stop. I would recommend this for everyone as a must do.

This is an amazing experience and a must do if you visit bath. We had a brilliant time, Jay introduced us to the birds and taught us how to handle them, then we took Charlie out to fly, he's an amazing hawk with his own cheeky little personality. I would definitely do this again.
