Taking a tour of the Nottingham Lace District? Then a visit to St Mary's Church is a must. Tucked away, you might miss it but just look out for the spire. Well worth a look.

Lots of churches but this one is nice. The reforms they have done are interesting - photos of the work displayed

It seems time as stood still. It is a house purcahased by the family in the 1920's and the sons lived there until the last one died in 1990. Very if any changes have been made since that time which the National Trust wented when they purchased the property. Suprising what items you will recognise!!! Very helpful and pleasant volunteers... his is one of my favourite places to visit for I live in Nottingham. The stained glass windows are beautiful. Very peasefull atmosphere. If you get the chance to sit and listen to the choir rehearsing it is worth it!

The Nottingham City is so full of bloody history, that when we find a place of peace we fell happy to rest and to meditated in such a beautiful Church, erected to ask Clemence for all of ua, now and in past, from Divine S.Marry!

This is situated in the heart of the lace market and in it shadows lies the more affluent bars of the city, fantastic area, adjoining boutique hotel and gallerys of justice all within a minute away, the whole area is well worth a visit difficult for street parking but two good multi stories very close

St. Mary's Church is beautiful: Almost a Cathedral in size an stature, it is a very spiritual place and well worth a visit if you are in Nottingham. A brief area of calm in the hubbub of the city centre. However it is more of a working church than a tourist attraction: There are no guided tour or information boards... More

It's super close to the centre of Nottingham and the walk there (if you go through the warren that is the Lace Market area) has many interesting buildings and streets. A friend got married here and the interior is perfect for a wedding (I guess, it's a church!). It looks much bigger inside than without, and the rood screens are... More

Good to visit different areas and this is worth a visit. opening times are variable and you need to keep an eye on this. The usual coffee mornings on saturdays and the people are very friendly running the usual charity shops in the area but helpful for the best places of interest if you ask.
