York is a popular destination for Hen Party's so when the YorkBoat company came up on a search for what to do, we thought this would be a great way to spend the evening. I called to talk through what I would like and was delighted that they agreed to have a pirate theme and offered to decorate the boat...

The four of us decided to take a boat cruise on a windy day in order to celebrate the anniversary of our Cruise to Norway exactly a year ago.
Not quite the same but enjoyable due to the interesting, informative live commentary provided by the "captain" even though there were only about a dozen of us on board.

Staff were very polite and friendly and a warming cup of tea was a reasonable £1.20. The tour costs £8.50 for adults and includes interesting commentary as you pootle along the river. We did the City Tour which...

We had a riverboat trip on one of the coldest but sunniest days in February and STILL managed to sit outside and enjoy the commentary pointing out interesting spots along the way that wouldn't have been aware of from dry land. Not overly expensive and a nice way to have a bit of a breather but still be sightseeing.
