We arrived in Londan in the wee hours of the morning and met up with Jonnie after refreshing at 10am on Tuesday 12th March. One of our dear friends who is on a working holiday and resides in London recommended a tour with Jonnie to aquaint ourselves with some intriguing history and goings on around old London Town. We met... More

My boyfriend and I joined Jonnie on his 'My Neck of the Woods' walk on Sunday and we had the most wonderful time. We were really Impressed with his knowledge and friendliness, and was a really refreshing approach to a walking tour. We saw some lovely spots and markets, with some really nice stops for street art too. A must-do... More

My son who lives in London and had been on one of Jonnie's tours before, arranged for our tour when we visited London last weekend. Jonnie's knowledge and humour were incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon walking around London. Would definitely recommend Jonnie's tours to anyone interested in having a fantasticand unusual morning/afternoon in London.

I joined Jonnie's "My neck of the woods" tour on a freezing cold day in February, but knew that I was in for a few hours of informative, fun and friendly banter. Jonnie is passionate about his walks, notices and points out the little details that otherwise you would sail past and tells you the back-story to each of them.... More

Tired after a long flight, Jonnie soon sparked us up with his humour and knowledge of London's East End. We saw lots interesting places we would never have found on our own. Jonnie is also a thoughtful and considerate person. We certainly enjoyed the time we spent with him.

I've done two walks with Jonnie now.....and had a great time. Discovered some hidden gems.....a theatre and an old quirky pub....on the walk I did on the 21st April. Very easy to book in for groups as he sends confirmations out quickly. Good customer service! :)

My Mom and I were in London for just 3 days at the beginning of April and wanted to make the most of our short time in this amazing city. My research surrounding a private guide led me to Jonnie from Bowl of Chalk and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. Jonnie is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and... More

We're visiting from the U.S., and saw all the glowing reviews for Jonnie's Bowl of Chalk tours, and decided to give it a try. We thought it would be interesting to see a side of London that we hadn't see before, and went on the "pay what you want" walk yesterday morning in Jonnie's "neck of the woods." We could... More

I wanted to go for a walking tour in London and was enticed in by the charming whimsical bowlofchalk website which doesn't have the typical boring tour guide feel about it. And it turned out to be true for the walk too. Jonnie took us through the nooks and crannies of central London, peppering his tour with interesting facts and... More

We booked a 3 hour walk with Jonnie on the spur of the moment having read some good reviews. We met him under a statue in Trafalgar Square on a wet and cold morning, we didn't know what to expect and I was slightly worried that it may be a bit heavy on the historical stuff added to that the...
