We went to the zoo with our 3 year old who was excitedly looking forward to seeing the Giraffes and Lions - both of which did not disappoint. The Giraffes were magnificent to see upclose. The other enclosures that were nice to see was the Penguin enclosure. However, the rest of the displays seemed a little lack-lustre and some were... More

Visited on 20th May, during the late morning. The ticketing area is very organised, with numbered purchase points and voice prompts guiding customers to the relevant ones. The layout of the zoo is fairly straightforward, although a fair amount of walking is to be expected - this is a big place and there are benches scattered around for brief rests.... More

We went to the zoo for a Special Children Day - a special day for children with disabilities to enjoy the Zoo at half price. We had a separate entrance, a special map and 20% off everything in the Zoo. There were also a lot of Zoo workers going around the Zoo and helping people with whatever they needed. My... More

All kids (and adults) had a great day out at London Zoo - We arrived early so it was quite, the children loved the penguins, the Gorilla and new tiger enclosure best of all - the little one 145 months liked stroking the goat! we will be back again next year!!!

Spent a whole dday here with our 2 yr old. Was quite put off by some of the poor reviews, but can happily say we thought it was great! Animals seemed very happy, place was well organized, clean and inviting. Only criticism is not enough loos.

I came with a group of my 15-18 year old students and London Zoo was a must we had to visit.. the territory is really large but many animals are seen only from the distance..camels are nice and you can even touch them, tigers and lions are somewhere far.. you can succeed in seeing their tail or a part of... We were shocked at the admission price of £25 per adult, even more so when we saw how shabby the place was, it didn't look cared for at all and could do with a bit of a facelift (the fenced off members lawn was very well cared for though!). The animals all seemed well looked after however and there was... More

Used London Pass for entry so was good value. As far as zoo's go it is well set up with new exhibits being added. The new tiger display allows some great photo opportunities as does the gorilla enclosures.

We had a London pass so were able to skip the que. I would research other ticket options as this was the only thing we used our passes for. We went on a Sunday and it was sunny which was a bonus! Took a good 5 hours to get round it all and have lunch. Take a pack lunch as... More
