Went into another world, it was like a night club of-the 70s. The place is dark and sweaty and heaving, 2 music stages , band after band after band. More music than you can shake a stick at. This is no Beatles theme park, sanitised for mass consumption. It is a real music venue with real up and coming bands....

This is not quite the original club, but a salvaged version after the original club fell into disuse and disrepair. Nevertheless, it was fun to spend an evening there with live music. Obviously, the Beatles feature predominantly, but the solo artist we saw was excellent and really engaged with the audience.
Do not expect luxury! It is a very basic...

Anybody who hasn't been to the Cavern Club in the past ten to fifteen years will be most disappointed. When we went there was an international rock festival on which potentially should have been great. However what we could hear of it, due to the dreadful sound set up, was poor. At one point t a bass player went off...

Even though I'm not a big Beatles fan I really enjoyed visiting the Cavern Club, you have to go down stairs to enter, like entering a cellar. It almost felt like stepping back into time, loved all the writing on the walls and ceiling. Everyone very friendly so great atmosphere, would definitely go back next time we are in Liverpool.
I was unsure what to expect when we went in (early evening on a very rainy day!) but I need not have worried - there was a live band on playing Beatles hits and a really friendly atmosphere. A friendly member of bar staff chatted with us about the history of The Cavern and we felt very welcome.
We will...

If your a beatles fan, you don't need me to tell you whats here :) Excellent atmosphere, beer a bit expensive, live entertainment all day, (special shout out to the Cavern Club Beatles, great show lads). Just go there!!!
In april, my 14-yo son and me went to visit Liverpool, York, Leeds and Manchester. Of course we took a trip to the club...Even if it's rebuilt (contrary to the Casbah Coffee Club), you still get the feel of the original with great live music playing...
