I don't know why people are comparing this to the London Eye, the comparison is not really fair! This is a small wheel in a small city! It is not at all a bad way to spend a few minutes in Brighton though, on a clear day you get a great view of the coast and the pier. We found... More

Tried The Wheel on Sunday: being right on the beach you can't see much except water to the south but there are good long views down the beach to east and west, and views of Brighton to the north. The ride is typically 3 revolutions so there is time to look around but to be honest there isn't a lot... More

Ok, so this is not the London Eye, but it doesn't cost as much nor are the queues as long. We went on a clear sunny Bank Holiday weekend. The queue was no more than 5 minutes and we wee promised at least 3 times round, we actually had 5. You can see for miles, and the views of Brighton... More

Not as good as the London eye. I was a bit disappointed by this wheel. Would not recommend this. Waste of money.

Went on this with the family after my son begged me. Price was a bit steep at £31 for 2 adults and 3 children. Though we did get to go round 5 times for that price. Was a clear day so we could see for miles. There is a commentary to tell you what you were looking at though the... More

Not a very exciting experience, we didn't actually feel safe, not really that much to see, expensive for what it is. the staff are really - just not in to it - we complained about this and got left on the ride a lot longer than we either should have been or even wanted to be and had to shout... If you have done the London eye, and lets face it, who hasn't by now, this is distinctly underwhelming. Yes you get a nice view of the Pier and back towards the downs but that's about it. Maybe at night with all the twinkly lights its more impressive. Expensive too!

Great value for money me thinks, only £8 for a minimum of 3 rounds. Had a great clear day so could see for miles. Steve coogan was great on the commentary. The girlfriend loved it and was scared of heights before.
