The abbey at the moment is being totally renovated., but the gardens are beautiful to walk through on way to the sea front.

The Abbey was closed for major renovations. The gardens are well worth the visit - only a short walk from the harbour.

After visiting a few years ago, I was looking forward to a repeat visit this month, but unfortunately it is closed for restoration - looks like a long job.

A lovely old building, still being renovated so we couldnt go inside. We walked around the grounds. Its very near to where my daughter lives so we see a difference each time we visit.

Be aware that the Torre Abbey is CLOSED until September 2013 for refurbishment at this thme the grounds are very wet April 2013 and the sea road is closed one way due to the sea wall having been breached by the storms

We went to visit Tore Abbey but its in process of refurbishment so could only view the outside...will look great when finished...

Drove past it on the Land Train. It is currently undergoing renovation work. Magnificent building! Very impressive and grand.

Visited here as a group on deal, the deal was 18 holes for the price of 9 but when we arrived it said during the off season you could pay for 9 holes and go round as much as you liked, so in reality the group on saved us nothing. Anyway, the course was quite waterlogged, one of the clubs... More

In my opinion the photos present that place better and more attractive but it is not. It is a nice walk in the garden to spend time instead of drinking coffee!!!
