This is such a good service and it brilliant for travelling to the Barbican in Plymouth and does cut out parking problems if not too busy at Mount Batten. Would recommend this as both places are really good to visit!

Amazing facility - child friendly and very reliable. I use this service often to travel between Mountbatten and the barbican. Have also travelled to Mount Edgcumbe. Excellent

The timetable and costs are now on the website but basically they are on the hour and half hour from Mountbatten and quarter to and quarter past from the Barbican. Hope this helps.

Wish the times were on the website. But it is fairly frequent and it is good for accessing Mountbatten and Turnchapel from the Barbican and vice versa.

Free car parking with a walk out on the huge jetty. Ferry across to the Barbican was not over costly but it save the car parking problem in Plymouth as you could return at any time.

Forget parking charges , forget park and ride. If you want to get to an event or get to Plymouth Waterfront, take the Mountbatten Ferry and walk up to the Hoe. The trip takes about 5 minutes and is so much more convenient for gettin around

Used by regular commuters and good numbers of trippers and drinkers escaping the stews of the Barbican to walk around the Mount Batten peninsula or walk around to the very good pubs at Turnchapel - the Clovelley Bay and Borringdon. If you are a visitor the trip across the mouth of he Cattewater estuary is a great way to view... More
