This is casual dining and very good. We had afternoon tea here. the menu looks great. everything from burgers to nice fish meals. Great place to relax any time of day.

We always pay at least one visit to Porthgwidden beach when we visit St Ives. It is my most favourite of places, sheltered, not over subscribed, peaceful and had a great cafe and takeaway for endless cups of coffee

My family have had holidays in St Ives faience before I was born and I still visit to see my relatives several times a year. This beach is one of the safest for young children. It has fine clean sand and is very sheltered. Very popular with families and has toilets nearby and a fantastic cafe.

Have just spent a lovely time of this small beach enjoying the views, with a lovely beach reastaurant. When the weather is great then you could image yourself on a topical beach. Whilst we were there the weather was cold but sunny and finished off with a bag of chips. What a great day.,

The Porthgwidden Cafe is first class with seating either outside on the terrace or inside the restaurant. From both seating areas, the views are amazing over the beach and out to sea. As a sister restaurant to the Porthminster Beach, the food is... More

Porthgwidden Beach is not the largest beach in St Ives but what it lacks in size it makes up with it's stunning views, attractive setting with it's beach chalets and lovely clean sand and it has everything one wants food and drink wise, upstairs is the Porthgwidden Beach Cafe for sit down meals and outside is a little takeaway offering... A fantastic beach for a sheltered spot, with plenty of seating above the beach for a great view over the bay!
