Who knows when the Friends will sing their last shanty on Port Isaac's platte? There's a timeless feel to the songs and shared histories of these men that's transmitted to the folk from everywhere who gather where Cornwall meets the sea.

After the accidental death of one of the group they are not performing on the Platt this season. It is quite understandable and we can only hope they resume after grieving for their colleague.
Fantastic. We have followed them in ans around Cornwall. There not just fantastic singers but a great laugh. So sooy and so sad to hear of Trevor Grills passing. Heart broken,:-(
Been watching the Fishermans Friends in Port Issac for about 15 years now, however their recent celebrity status has accounted for massive crowds which ruins the simplicity of the occasion. Singing is great with beautiful back drop of the harbour but crowds in their hundreds have ruined it.

The Fishermans Friends were fantastic. Great singers and very funny men. I knew a lot of the songs and was able to sing along. I had the best time.
A lovely community feel, with all ages standing together to bop and listen to teh famous fisherman's friends. A lovely experience!
Wonderful singing and great crowds. We recommned to anyone to spend an evening on the harbour side. The only downside was the cost of parking
The evening we went to see the Fisherman's friends. Was the warmest they had done in two years! I could not think of a better way to spend our last night in Port Isaac. Picnic blankets, wine, plastic cups, the children dancing to a style of music they had never heard before. The perfect evening!! We all went home with...
