We took a drive up through Revelstoke National Park to the Meadows in the Sky Parkway, the road up was very enjoyable with lots of twists and turns and pull outs to admire the view. Once we were at the top we did a short walk which was amazing to see all the flowers in boom, however it was freezing...

Well worth the drive, we had a fantastic day here, lovely walks and a great drive back down, the parks wardens were very informative, cant wait to go back.
We were there at the end of September. Even then some flowers are there. You drive up the hill for 24 km. After that you can walk the 1 km to the top (15 Min) or you go with the free shuttle bus. There are nice walks up there and you have a very spectacular view. Even ice can be...

we had already travelled around jasper and banff so this drive was not that impressive. maybe if you were starting our holiday fresh, it would have seemed more so.
Taking this drive just outside of Revelstoke, BC, is well worth the time. It will take about an hour up and back and worth every minute. Views spectacular. It is quiet and peaceful. At the top you can also take many trails to hike to further heights. We would do this many more times.
Best time to visit for the flowers to be in bloom is the begining of August. A fantastic show of wild flowers in their natural habitat, and some nice little walks, you will have to drive up to the car park and then get the free shuttle bus up to the meadows.

But as we drove ever higher we found more blooms and more species than were in the lower elevations. Our drive to the summit paid dividends, both...

The views are amazing and the trails are not very difficult. We saw a wolverine on the drive up and a black bear on the drive down.
Park Fee at the beginning of paved road, 26km of switchbacks, but well worth the trip up. Meadow flowers spectacular. Gorgeous views, mountains, rivers indicated with arrows at the top by the lookout.
