I have participated the the Rocky Mountain Soap Company Run in Canmore the past 3 years, all located at the Canmore Nordic Centre. The trail is clean and well maintained, the interior facilities are top notch. I hope to see all future races held at this location. There are great running, hiking and biking trails and amazing views of the... More

I was an absolute beginner, but with a one hour beginner's lesson they had me skiing along some great trails.

Where better to get used to the mountains than ski on fabulously groomed trails, rolling hills and unbelievable scenery. Trails range from beginner to expert so all skiers are accommodated. Great food awaits you at the chalet as well as expert advice at the training centre and store.

I have now done both classic cross-country skiing and skate-skiing at this facility. All trails are wide, well groomed, and on a vast majority you are able to do BOTH skate-skiing and cross country. In addition to width & grooming for skate-skiing, they typically have at least one and up to two sets of tracks going in both directions. Trails... More

We greatly enjoy skiing the lit trails after 5 pm at the Nordic Centre. It's a wonderful facility for recreational nordic skiing for all levels of expertise.

First time there in January 2013. Excellent grooming, well equipped ski shop, friendly staff. The restaurant could do with some better healthy foods..... I like a burger once in a while but not when I am out working that hard!

I've skied here since the CNC was new in the '80s. They've improved the grooming, snow making, and trail profiles. There are still some really challenging trails here, but they've developed a lot more with gentle gradients shorter loops. Perfect for skiers of all ages and abilities.

My husband and I have been to the Nordic Centre a couple of times in the summer to mountain bike and twice this winter to cross country ski. Mountain biking: excellent selection of trails for all abilities; I stuck to the green (easy) routes while my friends and family took advantage of the more difficult options. Great value as there...
