Comfortable, I had not problem parking, and the seating was very good, no trouble hearing, and seeing the play.

It was the greatest disappointment ive encounter in all my summers on this magical island. The volumne was dangerously excessive, we took the option to move to the back of theatre, but seconds into the band playing my 22yr son walked out with me following..my guest had already left......i asked for refund, was refused and offered ticket for another Elvis show...if... Smallish theatre with tiered seating and no balcony. There is not a bad seat in the house. THe theatre is right on the waterfront. We have taken in a couple of plays, a celtic dance performance, as well as a music awards show. All performances have to stand on their own (and they did), the venue supported all these different... I have see Anne & Gilbert twice at the Harbourfront Theatre and loved it both times! If you are ever on PEI and an Anne fan, seeing this show is a must!!! I loved it so much, am planning to see it again this summer!

Just a well built theatre with great sound and not a bad seat in the house. Always worth a visit.

I attended an evening performance with my husband and 9 year old daughter. We all enjoyed the show. The performers are very talented, and the show is filled with good songs, stepdancing and lots of humour. My daughter loved watching all the children on stage. My husband, who went reluctantly, ended up enjoying it as much as I did. It's... More

Having attended a great many performances at top theaters around Canada and UK over the years, I am now shocked to say that, now topping the long list, is the Harbourfront Theatre's production of "Anne and Gilbert", based on the book Anne of the Island. This was easily the single most enjoyable, musical experience of my life to date. The... More

~Not in the same league as the Charlottetown festial's "AoGG - The Musical." The pamphlets implying that this one is better are very misleading. This was just okay, with a few good songs. ~Also, if you have children, note that there is a song that repeats in the chorus about "what happens when the lights go out" in marriage. Anne... More

OK, I went to Anne & Gilbert 'cause my wife made me. I was expecting a cheesy show with mediocre performances. Actually, it's a slightly cheesy show (how could something to do with Anne and PEI not be a bit cheesy?) with an amazing cast who all have great voices, excellent direction and staging, entertaining beautifully-executed dancing including some great... A must see even if you don't like musicals. Every actor did a spectacular performance. Plus it is live orchestra.
