in a city high rise centre this a beautiful old building of outside character second to none some gothic features and classical straight lines . long may it survive
As many have stated before me, you obviously can't enter as a tourist as it is a fully functional court house however pictures of the outside are well worth a stop. Amazing building to look at, very historic, you can also see new town hall and the pond that they freeze in the wintertime for skating right across the street.
A celebration of architecture of the era. Built with locally quarried stone and hand carved with the faces of the leaders of the day. Well worth the efforts to keep it and enjoy it!
This is currently A Courthouse. The Good Thing Is It Is Preserved And Used. The Negative Is That It As A Functioning Court House Is Full Of Security And Not Designed For Tourists. If You Are A Student Of Deign And History Very Much Worth A Visit.
Unless you're a lawyer. No matter where you go in this building there is no way out but the front door. Going to a court date, take the day off! make sure you pay for you parking in advance... This was a nice alternative to the constant hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions. The architecture of the building was nice and it didn't look out of place amongst all the skyscrapers and modern buildings
