Bloor west village has lost of restaurants, shops and great to just walk around. Make sure you check out High Park when you're in the neighborhood.
We lived in Bloor West Village for almost 4 years, great vibe with one off restaurants like Queen's Pasta and Sharkey's. Great burger options at The Yellow Griffin. Steps to High Park one of the nicest parks in Toronto. When you live or visit the village you would never know you're only a 15 drive to downtown Toronto!
I live in BWV and love the shops, restaurants and people. It's a small town located in a big city.
The neighbourhood is close to High Park, and is fun to walk. There are a lot of coffee shops and green grocers, a good butcher and fish market. Most restaurants are casual, pub style places.
Dr. Generosity's is a great restaurant, great menu, fabulous food, very good serving staff, great atmosphere.
