My kids were excited to see the great science demonstration at science east. We spent 4 hours with kids there. Lots of fun and learning.

During April 2013, our family visited Fredericton for the day from our home in Maine. My wife and granddaughter went shopping, while 2 grandsons and I played tourist. One attraction we visited was Science East. It was a marvelous experience.

As a child I really enjoyed visiting Science East for all the cool gadgets and experiments. Now the staff are very accommodating and allow for university student work to be done there (news reports, films, etc.) Check out the bottom floor for some history and creepy dungeons!

Been here a few times now with immediate family (wife and kids), extended family and friends. Always had a great time. The more I go, the more time I'm able to spend on the more detailed time consuming displays like puzzles and experiments that I didn't have a chance to do the time before or just up and missed them....

My 4 kids, ages 8 to 16, all LOVED this place. The entire museum is hands-on activities. Push, pull, build, spin - the kids had a blast and didn't care what principles the activities were illustrating. They didn't want to leave. It`s been awhile since I`ve been here, but they have alot of fun things for kids to see and do. It is also a great llearning experience for children. On Saturdays you could stop by the farmers market which is right beside Science East before or after bringing your children here.

This is wonderful for kids but adults love it too. So much to see and do. A fun day and you learn lots through doing and experiencing. Its in an old building that had once been the city jail.

quaint small town sci museum, the one in Halifax is much better fun for young kids not much for older ones
