I visited the Hastings Park racecourse as an evening out arranged by my employer for the staff. The camaraderie was fun but the venue was cramped and the food mediocre. I am not a gambler so I did not enjoy the betting side of it.

We took my mother over to watch the horse races for an early mother's day surprise. just tired looking needs to be updated and the food needs improvement I would still go back every summer.
The enthusiasim was contagious. Food, although not great was fine. There was plenty to see, not just the track. I enjoyed watching the horses being led around before the race. It was a great day so staying outside was not a problem. Washrooms were well labeled.
I love the air,the horse racing the thrill and the food You can also spend time at the casino.Nothing better to sit outside in the sun watch the horses and maybe win

But if you just want to bet a couple of bucks on the ponies, have a hotdog, and be able to watch the light changes...
