In two hours, we cover exposure, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, composition and basic portraiture. Let's be honest though, it's also a ton of FUN! Lead by a professional photographer, participants are given tools, and an opportunity to explore a popular area (Science World, Convention Centre, English Bay, Coal Harbour, Gastown, Kitsilano or Granville Island) with their cameras, and are given small learning objectives. Introductory classes are offered during the day, and low-light classes in the evening.

Super fun and very informative. Joseph and Suzanne were awesome to work with. Steveston was a great back drop to learn about my camera and take some creative pictures.

Suzanne's photo tours are amazing! She is able to go with the punches (rain, skill levels, different cameras, ect) and maintain a sense of humour and a high level of energy and fun....all at the same time!! A fancy camera is not a must, she can show you how to get the best shots with what ever camera you are... More

There are many ways to learn how to take pictures but Suzanne makes it FUN. There is a rare combination of laughs, teaching and eye opener hints that will change the way you see photography. “so much fun!”

I was able to rent her camera, as mine doesn't have any extra functions. Suzanne was very friendly and engaging and the class was a lot of fun. I learned a lot! Now I want to get a better camera and take real pictures, not just cel phone shots :)

What a great afternoon.The sun was shining and we took some beautiful shots of Vancouver. I gained important knowledge about my camera and it's capabilities. We took single shots using various settings and compared the results. Suzanne was delightful and very informative, working with the various levels within the group.
