This area is right near the water. Never seen so many young people in one place where there was no rock star. Energy, energy. If you like people watching, this is the place for you. Lot of places to eat; some shopping.

Where else do you get up close with the cruise ships & the sea? This is a fantastic starting point for sightseeing. Close to the Convention Center & Stanley Park The view across the water - beautifull vista of the North Shore mountains & beyond

Great little boardwalk wrap around to walk. Very picturesque with the tall sails that can be seen from Stanley Park.

If you are visiting Vancouver, you should not miss Canada Place, although there is not much to do, is a good place for beautiful pictures of the building itself, the surroundings and the ocean view. There is a hotel where you can stop for drinks and enjoy the view, there are also some stores located in the lobby level of... More

It was nice to have a walk around this area on our trip to Vancouver. There are lovely views out into the bay and you can watch the seaplanes taking off and landing. There were interesting things to look at on the pier, including a musical installation which was very popular. Nice for a stroll!

A fine place to watch cruise ships and to see the waterfont. As it was the 200th aniversary of the 1812 war, we decided to go to the free exhibit but had to walk round and round trying to find it. The 'help desk' was of little help and got the times wrong and didn't know exactly when it started,... More

This place has great views, and is centrally located to most attractions- Gastown, Chinatown, and Vancouver's Downtown. The free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, and the Vancouver Trolley's Sightseeing tour's first stop begins here too. If you're looking for the Vancouver Tourist Office though, please note that they've moved to the building across the street. (They probably haven't changed... More
