Nothing to dislike. It only takes around 15 minutes to get to the very top of the pyramid of the sun. Only possible con is all of the people trying to sell you stuff, but that is expected at any big tourist site.

We travelled with wayak tours - guide very knowledgable, good day out, plenty of time to climb and explore
this place is reachable by town bus - 40 minutes to go from Mexico city. Better get here to 10am - there is no place to hide when sun runs +30C at noon. Bargain for cheap souvenirs. Pyramids are great but do not miss a museum with garden
Aprox. 50 kmts from Mexico city, we went by taxi (party of 4) in aprox 40 min. Two main piramids (Sol and Luna) an small museum and a temple of the snakes.
What impressed me the most after knowing Machu Pichu, Xcaret, Tikal and other is the extensión of this site. Aprox 1.5 miles fromth Snakes temple to the Sun...

It's amazing so many Americans go all the way to Egypt just to visit pyramids, when within a 5 hour flight from almost anywhere in the USA, you can see some of the largest pyramids in the world. Teotihuacan is no less impressive than Giza, and maybe more interesting for the very fact that so many new-age myths are tied...

Grabbed a taxi from our hotel and went to the pyramids. A long way from town but worth the trip. We were there on a national holiday so it was extremely busy. Too forever to get up the sun pyramid but it was so cool. Would go again and spend the whole day there. We went in the afternoon and...

I had worked my way from Merida, Ixhmel and Kaba, then Chichen Itza, then Coba. Each time I was intrigued and loved the experience. This seemed like the icing on the cake, big, wide, spacious, full of history, metaphysics and awe inspiring history of the Olmecs who built it. Having a guided tour definitely makes the visit more interesting learning...

I was simply amazed when I arrived and exhausted when I left from walking up the Piramides. This is a must see piece of Mexican history.
