Enjoyed watching the dolphins in the morning. Pedlars and their wares were always around and we bought quite a few unique items. Beautiful sunsets.

End of the season, but we still saw whales, and caught some game fish, you can find the owner on line, or FB, if you speak Canadian you can ask for a discount. ;-) Boat is a dual inboard diesel-- fast, roomy, with a toilet.

Loved the travel around it plus I later stayed at Majahuitas Resort on the bay. Beautiful area. Drove past Mismaloya. Colorful sights.

The Bay of Banderas offers so many attractions. From the truly cliche para sailing to the adventurous deep sea fishing, you will find it here. The afternoon winds offer fantastic sailing opportunities, and the bay is protected from big Pacific swells.

The main time to see the whales in Banderas Bay is between January and end of March when many types of whales are breeding. We booked the snorkeling/kayaking tour with Vallarta Adventures through Scott's Tours in Bucerias. Scott and his wife Vicki are very helpful. Our tour started in Nuevo Vallarta and took us out to the mouth of the... More

We had thee best whale watching experience of our lives here. The whales and calves were everywhere. So very cool. The trip we went on even put the microphone in the water and we could here the whales singing. Sent shivers down my spine. Breach after breach. Very Cool!

this is not the beach or the ocean of the Carribean side but it is a nice beach to walk along, we have put on miles and miles exploring the area and looking at what other resorts have to offer. Oten we stay close enough we can walk to Bucerias or Puerto Vallarta. If you haven't been to Bucerias I... More

The bay is wide open and beaches go from sandy to cliffs, tropical forest to desert. Yuo could drive from Colima to Nayarit in a non-stop variety of landskape. In winterm wahe watching is a must-do acitvity, but also fishing, surfing, boat riding, parachuting (watch the prices!), sunbathing and fresh-fish eating at the huts on the beach on the Nayarit... We were sooooo lucky to be invited on a sailing trip in the Bay for an entire day. It was gorgeous and so nice to see PV from there and all of the neighborhoods along the coast. There are other boat trips and cruises that will take you out there and we highly recommend do it.
