Very old church in the middle of old town Mazatlan. It is still in operation. When we were there a wedding was being held. We were able to walk around the back and experience the whole ceremony. You can sit and pray or just gaze at the beauty of this magnificent work of art.
Amazing for those who enjoy history or churches. Best to go with a tour guide because there is so much history there. You can take pictures with flash since some Cathedral's will not along you to.
This is an elegant old church that has been the catherdral for over 50 years now. I attended "Stations of the Cross" on Good Friday, good "service", excellent choir. The building itself has excellent architectural detailing if that is what interests you. I love it. If you are looking for Mass, there are frequent celebrations on Sunday mornings and Sunday...

The church was beautiful inside and but loved the park next to it for walking and siteseeing. There were little shopping booths set up and it was interesting.
Area around the cathedral was somewhat dirty and filled with a lot of beggars.Interesting to see, but not much, if any information about the cathedral and if there are tours.
The Immaculate Conception Cathedral is a great place to see. It is quite ornate and well kept. We were there for the ringing of the bell at noon. A "must see" for Mazatlan visitors.
This was our destination one day and we walked from El Cid El Moro beach, a looooong walk, then we went to far and had to back up, but well worth the visit, just a beautiful, serene place.
It was the most beautiful Church I have ever been in. I was in awe of the size of the Cathedral and the Statues were very nice. I am glad that our tour included seeing this place.
This is a very large cathedral, very old and very yellow. It is two blocks from the market and is easily spotted from the market to go and see. In front of the cathedral is the town square. You can get better pictures from there.
